^Lot 1004A Colt First Generation Single Action Army Revolver

Colt First Generation Single Action Army Revolver, #337916, .44-40 cal., 7.5'' barrel, blue and case hardened finish, factory checkered hard rubber grips. Mfg'd 1919. Condition is good to very good. Barrel retains approx. 85% blue; frame with traces of case color and some moderate to heavy corrosion, specifically to left side of frame and l/3 of cylinder, as well as front and back strap. Grips with only light flattening. Action needs work as hammer does not always stay at full cock; bore is excellent. Est.: $1,200-$1,800. (C&R/PPT) (Joe Poyer collection)
